Part two of Underaged

She tells me the story

Of how my idol got drunk this summer

While she tells,

I feel a pit of hate, despair, and disappointment

I looked up to him

I nearly worshiped him

I thought he was so cool

He was my hero

Later, when I ask him of this

He said he quit

I smiled

He and I both knew he was under aged

Alcohol isn’t good for anyone anyways though

Today

I still look up to him

I still think he’s cool

He’s still me hero

I’m glad

He’s now able to drink,

And yet he doesn’t

He is the best
