This is their story, their sad sad love story. I love listening to it over and over again. btw my eldest cousins story... XD

And I listen

To how she tells the story,

A story from the heart

Of how they met in middle school

She thought he was cool

He liked her a lot

Their relationship was rocky throughout life,

Really on and off

Then there was that night

They just had a fight

She threw the three rings

Her guy, he stayed there all night

He looked for them from dark to light

Eventually

It happened

He found them for her

They stayed together

But from there,

Things went downhill

He was unfaithful

She fought tears

Four years later when they’re twenty-two,

They break up

Moving back down,

She has a new guy

He’s still single

We don’t accept the new one

We much prefer him,

Even if he cheated

Even if he yells

Twelve years is a long time

It might be routine,

Or that he feels like family

We much prefer the ex

That guy,

He knows

He knows we don’t like him

He knows he’s not accepted

But yet he doesn’t leave,

I wonder why?

It must be love

He’ll have a tough time
