Treasurer's TreasureA Poem by cheriooIt's about a treasure in form of a child given to a person seeking treasure.
It gleamed in the nights eerie presence.
Gold was like mud compared to it's roseate glow. It was brought to life by handy men and women, It can be taken away by the stop of a heartbeat. Being referred to as 'it' claims such as a thing, wereas it is not, thall breathes in contaminated air, drinks from an everlasting fountain of creamy substance. Such pureness should be illegal. Beautiful among many other things. And a blessing to most however can be a curse to others. © 2017 cherioo |
