Finding peace

Stepping out into this world and my feet have always felt numb.

Connecting with the loved ones I create and my heart has always felt heavy.

Glancing out the window of the world that isn't my own feeling longing.

From day one I have been wondering how to live life correctly.

Day two I realized I don't have to think so hard.

Always wishing to be able to feel connected to you my dear.

Wishing for mother nature to swoop me up and lull me.

Or some sort of force that is this reality.

Take me to the soul of this madness.

Perhaps I can find my solid ground.

With only beauty surrounding my soul.

Hate, ignorance, and judgment washed away.

I could live that life with ease.

Take me there.
