The huge majority of time in PSO2 Meseta is invested in instanced PvE areas. Leveling can be done with just NPC helpers, but players get a large XP increase for playing with other real men and women. Additionally, larger-scale content like dungeons and quests normally involve fighting lots of smaller enemies, collecting loot, leveling up, and defeating large bosses in the conclusion that need coordinated group attempts, and normally require groups of players rather than NPC companions.
