It's 10'oclock at night and I was writing my literature essay on Jane Eyre. It was a three page essay and I only had half a page written because I couldn't concentrate. All I could think about was Christina, so I decided to email her and see if she would respond.
"Hey there! It's me, Andy. Whatcha up to?"
I wasn't expecting a reply back, seeing how it was already 10'oclock at night. But much to my demise, she responded back.
"Hey Andy! I'm not doing much. Just finished reading Jane Eyre. It's a really good book! You should read it sometime :). It's about a girl who undergoes different places in which she learns and is transformed into a woman. It's a very sad story actually; I almost cried while reading because of the romantic love story between Jane and Edward. I wonder if such love can exist in reality... But anyways, enough about me. What are you doing up so late? Shouldn't you be asleep?"
"Haha I could say the same about you! But I guess you're up this late is because your reading Jane Eyre. Well...you're not going to believe this but I'm actually writing an essay on Jane Eyre! Maybe you can help me? I will forever be in your debt!"
"Really now? What a coincidence! Haha sure I can help you but you owe me BIG! I'm helping you instead of getting my beauty sleep :P. Instead of emailing, let's call each other! It'll be so much easier."
I swear, when I heard her voice on the phone, it was like a lullaby; so angel-like and peaceful. She ended helping me write a five page essay instead of three. Afterwards, we just talked and rambled on for hours until it was two in the morning, and even then we did not want to stop talking to each other. And right before we hung up, we decided that we would watch Titanic together and have dinner afterwards. I was really looking forward to it.
