Be

Be

A Poem by j. w. lodwick

I fly on diamonds; we dance in azure seas,
and float within the wraith of another, we,
ask of the demon to allow our sacrifice

“ah! Take my soul;” sip from the glass,
give, give, give to the dragon;
he’s hungry, and they form lines—
like sacrificial séances o’er time,

I now repeat all my lines,
fall before noon;
and sip from the sea of…
gold!

I am not impossible; you are just judgment’s beast,
like them—you will see
and all men will loathe you.

Be! Be!

Oh my! Another great before me, I see. You, my friend, are magical.. Your words are a true art that glide across the page and bring the greatest joy to the ones who get to read them.. Bravo on this!
