Paris Calling

Paris Calling

A Poem by Chelsea

August 1st, 2008

Paris is at my feet,
the taste of wine is just around the corner.
The piano man is humming,
to Paris' city streets.
Eiffel tower calls my name,
not the way you call me.

This began so wonderfully, I hated to see it end so abruptly. I would like to hear some comparison between the friend or love's call and that of the city in the ending but this was beautiful just as it is.

Nicely done! Eloquently and simply stated. Great job!
