When You Didn't Say GoodbyeA Poem by Chelsea
I wish you said goodbye, then maybe it wouldn’t hurt so much. But you just left without a word How could you leave? Did you think I didn’t care? I did care, I wiped away your tears. I held you, so you wouldn’t slip away. I loved you, when you couldn’t love yourself. I taught you how to walk again, after she made you fall. And you didn’t know how to get up, I taught you how to trust again. Then you left with silence. © 2008 ChelseaReviews
