ah heartbreak. it's a pain that hurts so much i swear i'd prefer physical pain. the idea that you weren't special to this person you've grown to love always hurts. it really sucks if you find out you're supposed to have been a one night stand. that's like adding insult to injury. i can certainly relate to this poem
Oooo. Very deep and sad. I sense, too, that the words are lined carefully with just enough anger to get a point across. I'm sorry for the way you were treated. This piece seems to have been a healing point for you.
Thats what boys (teenage) are like, hormones pumping, adrenaline rushing, and all they can think about is b***s, bums and well you know what, your poem really says it all, and says it so well, just a shame girls listen to the lies they tell in order to get inside a girls pants.......... very good poetry
Wow, i guees it's safe to say we have all been through this. I myself have expirienced heartbreak at it's worst, it's not a nice feeling and can stay with you for a while. Am sorry this happened to you.
Loved the poem:)
it's a good thing to learn this young; you are better off seeing things for what they are - when boys are young; most of them have the pressure to lose their virginity; and girls have the pressure to have a boyfriend...its a never ending cycle and no one wins....let yourself experience it all without the physical intimacy - the girls end up getting hurt....because we pour so much emotion into giving...you are the prize when you can walk away and not allow someone to manipulate you

Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance.
