The Park

The Park

A Poem by Chelsea
"

The park, where children play, where darkness attacks.

"

The Park

In the park

When it’s dark

The darkness creeps

From where they all sleep

Swirling

Whirling

A pot of trouble

In the park

When it’s not dark

The children are busy

Making me quite dizzy

Happy

Oh so sappy!

A pot of joy

A lot of people have told me not to give away my poem in the author's note, so I wont. But message me if you want to know what it means! It has two meanings, that I wrote anyways, I'm sure you'll find more.
Please review, would love to know how you read this!

I loved the formatting of this a lot, great rhymes! I think your imagery is very clear and to the point, almost has a Blake-like. I got reminded of the Blake poem, "The Echoing Green," when I read it...both versions of "The Echoing Green." Good job.

I like this:) I could totally picture the park, and how creepy it could be, and how joyous I feel when I play around all day:) good job!

This was one of your stranger pieces but incredibly cool, the fact that its open to interpretation is what makes it strong.
Great work as always chels:)
