Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror

A Poem by Chelsea
"

Mirror, mirror, upon you. What do you see?

"

Mirror, Mirror

Your white handle grip me perfectly

So warm, I slide into your grip without hesitation

Without even so much as a second thought

Your rounded handles, my oh my!

I stare at a pair of eyes

Across your steamy top

They’re fierce,

Is that me?

That angry face, mine?

Your rippling top, must be lying

I tried to write something completely out of my style. I tried to make you believe this poem was something it wasn’t. What did you think I was talking about?
Well I was actually talking about a teacup, and staring at your reflection in the tea! Please review!

yes sometimes people get used to their reflection until one day they look and realize that the face isn't the same one they looked at years ago. people don't often realize how much they change through out circumstances and just life in general. its a hard thing to face! this showed that perfectly!

i agree with E.H. Monroe, it feels unfinished... i like that you have used a mirror as a metaphore for the reflection in a cup of tea.
"I stare at a pair of eyes
Across your steamy top
They’re fierce,
Is that me?"
i like this bit the best.

This may be the inner style of that poetic click that introduces your new style. Superior to Dance.
This makes Dance read like an after school special.
This is evocative and can be interpreted in ways of pretty, ugly, a play on a nursery rhyme.
I think you should water this b*****d and see what it grows into

I like it. Many self-truths can be realized during a cup of tea. Well done!
Cheers!
