Worries

Worries

A Poem by Chelsea
"

A poem about tosin' away all worries and living life to it's fullest.

"

Worries

Always weighted by my worries

Concerned about the effects of my past

Unsure of my future

Upset with the present

Every little thing with a possibility of a disastrous outcome

I never can relax, worried

I just want to be free

To join the life, laughing all the way

Instead......

Toss away my worries, I do

Taking life bravely, no longer living paralyzed by fear

I throw my head back, laughing all the way

Life can be a bear. Strong and wise people learn from mistakes and go forward. A excellent poem. Thank you.

I'm sure everyone can relate to this, some time in their life. The clarity in this poem speaks really well.

It takes a bit of work to get to the place where you can toss those worries aside, throw your head back, and laugh all the way, but it's well worth the effort. Ask an older person and they'll usually tell you how 95% of what they worried about in life either never came to pass or wasn't worth it.

I really love how you're reaching for a better way, a lighter outlook in this poem.
