Music

Music

A Poem by Chelsea
"

Music seeps into my soul, drowning me.

"

Music

Music; drifting from the floors below

Pours its liquid self in my ears; without an invitation

The piano twinkling

I imagine the long slender fingers playing

A haunting melody; chilling my spine

Yet it holds me captive

A voice rings out

Belting out low notes

Another voice rings out; softly but much higher

Harmonizing with the low

The sound so beautiful;

I never want the sound to end

Intresting. trying to define something which is so hard to. But you did a great job here- especially liked "Pour its liquid self into the ears"--Too good a line, too befitting..Keep it up :-)

I like it that you're accepting bad reviews. Okay then. I like this poem. It's good that you didn't use the word haunting in the typical way.
