Christmas Wishes

Anticipation

Of the promise of Christmas

Greed taking over all

True intentions trampled on

Supposed happy day; rebelled

I agree with this poem. Christmas isn't the the same. I like how you put the words and describe the new feeling of Christmas. We need to go back to the old ways. Christmas should be for family gathering and celebrating the holiday. A excellent poem.

It is true sometimes greed does take over the season but I try to make it a happy season with doing hot coco and movies and making cookies and some of the little things.
