Used glass as a comparison to trust. I thought this was strange but in the end the poem came together! I chose to write about trust as it's an issue in my life, so take this advice. Also take note of the picture, I thought this was beautiful! In the troubled time of war an officer and a little boy trusting one another! This is not my photo, ( http://www.mudvillegazette.com/milblogs/archives/trust1%20sadr%20city.jpg )

I like the simplicity and raw emotion of distrust in this poem. And even though I can be an extreme pessemist, I personally disagree, things don't just scatter and fall for all, they might seem this way at first, but time ventually heals. And life just continues. However, nice write. Keep it up.

i agree, trust is a very delicate thing that can be broken almost as easy as the heart can be. its a valuable thing that takes a special person to earn from another.
what a great analogy in my opinion! so much that these seemingly different things have in common!
like you said, they're both fragile and can't be put together when broken, so let me add more to the list.
they should both be transparent, (not all of them of course), kept in a safe place somewhere, not to be thrown about like they both don't matter, and if they both do break then they're both lost to the world.
i love the picture too. awesome work!
Soldiers do great things in many places. I seen kindness given and received. Wars are fought for men in big buildings for big business making money off the death of the innocence. Poem and photo is beautiful. A excellent poem.
