Running AwayA Poem by ChelseaA poem about making changes for the better in your life.Running Away My feet lug on in a steady rhythm I run, without a care in the world Just the breeze in my hair I think nothing other than myself, Not the ones I’ve hurt or should’ve loved But something pulls, finally I halt to a stop, My feet skidding across the well traveled path I see two trails, no longer just one I hum and haw for a minute or two And decide to run, Run down the right path, Leaving the wrong one behind, In hopes of Righting my wrongs And starting over, As a new person © 2010 ChelseaAuthor's Note
