The Day it Rained ColoursA Poem by ChelseaFun poem about raining paint! The Day it Rained Colours They weren’t expecting rain But something quite insane They were expecting Mr. Sunny, Sun, Sun But that’s when it happened, I started to run The sky started pouring what looked like paint All started looking quite faint I dodged this way and that But it still fell atop my hat It stuck to our skin But it gave us all quite a grin The sky raining colour But one blob hit my mother In my anger I hit the blob My mom screamed, “No Rob,” The blob exploded And got us all green coloured coated The clouds stopped spitting The grannies finished hiding their knitting We went back in peace Feeling alas quite at ease That was the day it rained colours! © 2010 ChelseaAuthor's Note
