Sunday, May 8th, 2089 (Ember Haynes POV)

I sat on my bed, wondering what would happen today. Was the war going to end or worsen? Who's house were they going to raid today? I hoped that it would end, because we already lost a lot of family, and I hated having questions but no answers...

As I looked out the window, I saw the police knock on the neighbour’s house, Mrs Clark pointed towards the apartment, indicating I lived on the top floor. After a few minutes, I heard a knock on my door.
“Ember Haynes, are you home?” the officer asked, sternly.
“Yeah, I am. What do you want?” I asked, looking at the door. “Are you here to raid my home, again? You know you guys are wasting your time here.”
“It’s your brother-in-law. He wants to talk with you.” The officer said, annoyed. “Why are you always causing us trouble, Ember...”
“Oh, what me? I would never do that.” I said jokingly. I opened the door, realizing it was the president’s assistant.“After all Scott, I am the sister-in-law of your boss...”
“Just go visit him, Ember.” Scoot said, soundly a little bit pissed. “He told me to give you a ride.”
“It’s fine, I’ll get there on my own...” I followed him outside, locking the door to my apartment. “I have other responsibilities to do.”
“He said you would say that, so I brought his agenda with me. You know, to set up an appointment for the most available date for you two to discuss the current event that has occurred between the two of you.”
“How about when the Earth collides with the sun, until then, I will always be making up excuses. Goodbye.” I walked towards my scooter. “I’m not being to you, Scott, I’m being mean to your boss.”
“I’ll tell him that you are planning on burying the latest victim of the raids. Or you are at least helping out.” He looked at me, a smile wide on his face. “Say hi to his brother, Parker, for me.”
“Yeah no problem, considering that you were friends.” I smiled back, “Yunno Scott, there is always room for one more in The Movement.”

“Yeah, but Jack is like a brother to me...”

Very good. Maybe a little short but good job.

I'm interested, but I'll have to read more before I can give you a better review.
When you have the prologue or the first chapter, I'll be able to tell you more.
Other than that, all I can say is that I am definitely interested. :)
