Wow. I know exactly what you mean. There are people you know briefly and think they have great lifestyles and you'd kill to hang out with them. Yet when you end up there beside them, you realize what type of person they are and either regret it or say no.

I think this is very important for some of us to truly get "closure"... If YOU say no to someone who has had such a hold over you, you feel so much stronger and really ready to get on with your life. Nice insight.
