I sit her in wonder

Wondering if it could

Possibly be true

If he could do it to me

Why would he tell me it

Say he loves me

But not mean it

I wonder to myself

Drive myself crazy

Wonder why i would

Think about this

Why I would wonder

Yet I am

I don't want to doubt

Don't want to think he lied

Yet that's all that plagues me

I can't help but wonder

And if he did

Why would he do it

Why would he say it

And then turn around

And say it was a big lie

I don't understand why

I poured my heart out

And then to figure out

All you said was a lie

That would hurt worse

Than the truth from the start

So all I want is the truth

That's all I want

Just to know if

You were playing with my heart

And were getting ready to leave

Or if you do care

And if you were sincere

That is my question

Just to put my mind at ease
