A YearningA Poem by Jeddie
A Yearning
My heart bleeds for the attention it seeks
Your smile, your touch, your glance
I thrive off the words your converse with me
But do you realise the extent I adore you?
We act as just links,
But I want more, I want you
On the outside I smile, I laugh
On the inside I scream, I cry!!
How do you not experience the longing I do,
The lust, yearning, the greed
I wander with you in my dreams,
But lumber behind you in my awakening
The frustration that haunts me,
Will you ever feel the same?
Perhaps not for me
But yet another not fascinated
I will then be at rest,
A peace that you now hope for,
Viewing emotions I remember experiencing
How it felt for your heart to bleed!
But for now I just survive... Of the contact you so little provide me with,
I a wish of two becoming one
A connection, a relationship
