Glass 2

Glass 2

A Story by Ash

Glass is spread all over the room
Everything in the room is broken
Including me, especially me
I feel numb to the outside world and can't believe it
You can't just come back into my life and expect me to come back
You can't just brake my heart like the  vase on the floor
It's more delicate and has a harder time repairing itself
Glass can just be thrown away and forgotten about
But people are a little different
You can't just tell me to wait for you
But then while you're gone you don't stick to it
You forget all about me and say that it isn't true
That you never loved me
For all the hurtful things you've done I've broken something
Pictures scattered around the floor
Tears are streaming along with the blood
The glass is so far into me flesh in places that blood trickles freely
How could you do this to me
You told me you loved me and said you'd never forget
And now your back
And you act like I'm the most disgusting and intolerable thing on earth
You don't even have the nerve to look at me anymore
Couldn't face it like the man I though you were
Now I lay here
In my own tears and blood
And I still cry for you
I must be a fool, and I'm done
I'm tired of all the lives and am ready to sleep for a hundred years
And then hopefully wake up to a better love
One that doesn't cause me pain
