Hope

This is for a dear friend, who is going through a bad phase. I just want to tell him that this phase too shall pass.

I know life is not a bed of roses for you

I know the path you travel is filled with piercing thorns

But my dear, do remember that it is the darkest before the dawn

And this too shall pass.

 

I know, you yearn for solitude

I know, you wish to bury your sorrows within the deepest realms of your soul

But my dear, do know that I am always there for you

I am your friend not only during your good days, but during your worst phases too.

 

Life is not always easy and it is never ever fair

But there is always a hope for a better tomorrow

And this hope is what which helps you and me

To brave the rough winds and strive the uneven roads of life

 

And one day the dark clouds will part

And one day the sun will shine through again

And that day we will share a kiss and move forward

With a smile on our lips and a song in our hearts.
