Fool me twice.

Fool me twice.

A Poem by M. M. Lovar

Shame on me.

For a split second, I'm where I want to be.
Reality feels as if I'm dreaming.
On the tip of my tongue, your breath is sweet.
It's the honey bee to my nectar,
gently caressing each petal,

until your stinger cuts me deep.

Old wise saying. One time is a mistake. Two time you are foolish. Three times you are a dummy. I like the gentle way you wrote the logical poem. A very good ending to a excellent poem.
