![]() Love Something Real.A Poem by M. M. LovarI'm screaming in subtle words. In between the whispers and giggles, beneath the silence it burns, my veins start to sizzle. Heart pounding in my head, making it harder to reply. With a cramped up chest, I try to exhale. With every explanation, my soul derails. This fire I am feeling inside might as well be fueled by pixie dust. There is no more hopeful lust. I knew you would be dangerous. With that aside, I toyed with the flame, and I'm left, again, to sweep up the trust. Did you know I'm immaculate at make believe? I've convinced my own reality. Charades have never been good to me, yet I replace them, waiting for someone to see. So, apparently, it's insanity that has claimed my heart this time. The only outlet are these lines, where mutual is undefined.
This is my clarity. © 2010 M. M. LovarAuthor's Note
