There's always been something about me.
Well, I haven't been myself lately.
I wanted to mix love with concrete,
and I found that I've just stood in it constantly.
In search of a life that ends struggling.
I want to breathe.
I wanted your heart in me.
Instead, mine has been stalled to beat.
That night will replay rhythmically,
when the moon planted its omen seed.
Please, forgive me if I pleaded.
You were there in times of need.
Tilting central balances of our circles built for ease.
I needed my innocence recognized and cleaned.
We both needed a step back to reevaluate our means.
Implications of a step forward is implanted in my feet.
Knees, no longer buckling in fear of defeat.
Now, I realize why this was meant to be
