A Captains Confessions.

A Captains Confessions.

A Poem by M. M. Lovar
"

Title says all; I was more fanciful with my writing style in my younger years.

"
Clouds embed the sky,
as we soar over the trade.
The new horizon now seems high,
the brightness seems to fade.
A calming storm draws near,
effecting all things new.
We will set anchor here,
metal fades into blue.
My tales are like the ocean waves,
they rise as gossip falls.
If ever you mention my name, just once,
You'd wish you never said it at all.
I live my life as children's dreams,
and love is nothing more than sea.
Another day, to me it seems,
I am noticed for my schemes.
The only ones to set my fears,
are the clouds that huddle above me.
My soul is emptied into those coal, gray vultures,
and I am ready for another journey.

Writing relieves my emotions. I write what I feel and what inspires me. I hope you enjoy, and don't feel frightened to drop a line or two about it. I'd love to feel your words as well. :) more..
