Happiness

Written by: C. Lee Battaglia

If I could tell you,

What to do,

It would be,

To find your happiness

People often doubt what they see

Asking, what's wrong with me?

If you look inwards,

All your going to find are lies

And soon you will believe the lies

As you look out

You will start to feel less crappy

And be more happy

You are my happiness

And I love you

So thank you for all that you do.

I can see clearly now,

When your happy,

I'm happy

When I'm sad

You make me happy

I love you. You really are my happiness.

This poem depicts a young love at its very core internal love is what is needed most
I would say that you need to emote more for your readers it's fine to write the words but feel it so that we in turn can feel these emotions
"Start to feel less crappy"
this line in particular needs work instead of forcing crappy and happy take your readers on a visual journey take a look outside feel the warmth the flame of love emitting something like that will allow a reader to know what is truly being felt otherwise a good poem a strong 80/100

I felt the struggle of life and love. Both are struggles we shall know. I agree, when we believe the lies. A fake sort of peace. All of us need time to re-set life. Find the truth and some happiness. You took the reader on a journey to find peace and salvation in a messy world. Thank you my friend for sharing your outstanding poetry.
