Lines

A Poem by C. Lee Battaglia
"

life's been hard

"

Lines

Here they hide,

In the lines

Crying as they ride

No longer any pride

No more jokes

No more joy

Only sad and lonely folks

All the broken children’s toys

Dead and gone

There lies no hope

Nothing else could be drawn

Hurry before they cut the life long rope

Every doubt is a line

Waiting for the last breathing whine.

Many places to land my friend.
"Dead and gone
There lies no hope"
Sometime we reach a dead-end and only better days can come. Strong description led to sad ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

About
My name is C. Lee Battaglia and I love to read… I read so much that my Mom grounds me from reading and tells me to go do something else. I am 20 years old. I hated reading when I was little .. more..
