LinesA Poem by C. Lee Battaglialife's been hardLines
Here they hide, In the lines
Crying as they ride No longer any pride
No more jokes No more joy
Only sad and lonely folks All the broken children’s toys
Dead and gone There lies no hope
Nothing else could be drawn Hurry before they cut the life long rope
Every doubt is a line Waiting for the last breathing whine. © 2016 C. Lee BattagliaAuthor's Note
