There she stands all broken...

She's Broke

We spent the day,

At the fair,

With her, it was fun in every way

Fun it was at the fair,

But near the end,

She began to cry,

It was clear what the message began to send,

Her heart broke so she began to cry,

I wanted to comfort her,

Not sure how,

But I asked her,

Why are you sad now?

She told me,

The one she could trust and love, left

I said, I see

She was left,

Unable to walk,

I hugged her,

Unable to talk,

I tried to comfort her,

I didn't understand why she was left,

She is beautiful in every way,

But I could imagine that her heart may have had a theft,

She is kind, crazy, funny, smart, etc. in every way.

So what do we do when someone feels down?

We try to comfort them in every way. Help them feel loved again!

Author's Note

Get up and look around. This recently happened to one of my best friends, it's unfair and not right to treat a girl or guy that way.
