my name is dope,

you know me well,

you see me on the streets and in the schools

i live in every nook and cranny around you.

ill steal your joy, 

make you sick,

take your wife and children.

i will serve you for a time but

in a few moments your heart and soul is

mine!

i will control your thoughts,

and actions.

i will steal your health,

kill your brain cells,

and take your ability to give

new life away forever!

ill put you in prison

make your friends and family

desert you.

but now that you’ve seen my power

you can not stop asking for more.

I’m a generous friend when you come to me

for help ill make your problems disappear

for a hour or 2 but when i leave your life

is left in shambles.

where do you run?

where do you turn?

you could go to someone for help

but you are a loyal friend you come to

me your master for more of my power. 

ill make you hear voices in your head!

you will lie to the people you love most

to keep my friendship,

i will become your world.

all you think about and all you do

will be for me.

your soul is bound to me and if your lucky to

get away before i kill you 

you will always be branded by me.

in my arms for a few moments you feel safe,

when i release you to my friends on the other side

you hate it but you come back for me.

my favorite game is to lie, steal and corrupt your brain.

you know you can not hide from my million eyes.
