The mask of your loveA Poem by charmelYou smiled at me,
but that smile was for her You held my hand,
thinking it was hers You kissed my lips
as though I was she You hugged me
wishing it was her body You told me, “I love
you”, but it was really for her You said, “I missed
you”, but you’re thinking of her You said you want to
be with me forever But she’s really whom
you want Your eyes are being
sincere But your heart told
me lies.
