Love's magical hands

Love's magical hands

A Poem by charmel

Thy eyes enthralled me

As I gazed upon thee.

Thy lips are red as roses

Makes me avarice for thy kisses.

Cupid’s arrow blast through my heart

Bull’s eye, it is, like the core of a dart

I longed to be thy Juliet

You’re my Romeo, I firmly state.

Night after night, I dream of thee

As I seek for thy heart’s key

To patent it up for me to see

Whom you want to be thy lady.

Heart’s pleased with so much glee

Everyday- you’re all I see.

Craving for thy amor, oh I plea!

To notice me- say the words of three.

One day, you ask for my hand

And bespeak if I can be thy swan

I nod for ‘tis I wanted

“yes, I do,” that’s what I’ve said.
