Nostalgia.A Poem by Charlotte HaranThis one's a little closer to heart. It basically shows the indecisiveness of regret. You don't know if you made the right choice, and can't help thinking 'what if?'.Defiled, bitter, warmth. A touch I knew was soon to spoil. Caressed by deceit, Blinded by trust. My euphoria of pain, My melancholy lust. A thousand silences, Uttered with just one word. Crowded and buried deep. Emotions are weakness, Secrets remain. People pulled apart, Regret regained. Surrounded by associates, But translucent to all, Repulsed, regressive, satisfaction. © 2012 Charlotte HaranAuthor's Note
