I FOUND YOU JUST A CRYING IN FRONT OF MY CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONER. EVEN THOUGH YOUR LITTLE CRIES WERE SHALLOW, I HEARD YOU. YOUR MOTHER RAN OFF AND LEFT YOU TO FEND FOR YOURSELF. I PICKED YOU UP, DUST YOU OFF, BROUGHT YOU INSIDE OF MY HOME KEPT YOU AS MY OWN BABY.

I WATCHED YOU GROW TO BECOME A GROWN CAT. I GAVE YOU A LITTLE HOUSE OF YOUR OWN TO DWELL IN.AND EVERYTIME I OPEN MY SIDE DOOR YOU WERE THERE TO GREET ME. WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR NOW IT'S EMPTY. YOU LEFT ME, IN SUCH A SHORT TIME.

THE LAST TIME I SAW YOU, YOU WERE LYING IN THE STREET, I SCREAMED YOUR NAME(PRINCE) BUT, YOU DIDN'T MOVE. I STILL GO TO THE SIDE DOOR EXPECTING TO SEE YOU, FEED YOU BUT, YOU'RE NOT HERE FOR ME ANYMORE. DADDY AND I MISS YOU TERRIBLY.

WE WISH THAT WE COULD JUST HOLD YOU AND CARE FOR YOU AGAIN AND TO TELL YOU THAT WE LOVE YOU. BUT NOW YOU ARE ASLEEP IN CATS HEAVEN.

As someone who cared for many cats in life, I felt this little story. I had one cat for 17 years and he had to be put down when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I was devastated to say the least, he was such an integral part of my life. I will say this, there are millions of cats out there with no one to love, so if you still have room in your heart for another, the unconditional love that a cat shares with its human companion is like no other love. They also make great story material!

Wow, that IS sad. I've had two cats and I know how sad it is to lose one. It feels empty without them around. Sorry to hear such a sad story from you but as you say, she's in kitty heaven.
