A Chapter by Timewilltell

A silhouette walks over to a dusty radio and knocks the top of of it, a heavy handed thump echoes through out the empty room. A voice streams out of the battered sound hole, the president of the united states is making an announcement...
"hello my fellow Americans. We as a government have taken on a duty to ensure every citizens safety by any means. Whether it be a terrorist attack or a foreign affair we've always had--- I've always had the country and it's people well being as my top priority. But it seems that we've inadvertently overlooked our own"fellow American." I don't have enough time to converse into detail but America will be hit with 2 nuclear bombs. One is said to hit Wash....Washington in less than 3 minutes and the second one to hit new York in 4 minutes.
With our deaths appearing to be more eminent by the minute I want everyone to take the time to acknowledge your fellow man. We've all accomplished feats of great hatred, rage, greed, and ignorance. But we've also showed greats acts of kindness, unbelievable courage, friendship, and love. So I ask, can everyone show some appreciation to your fellow people, it can be a handshake, a hug, a kiss, or even a head nod,"
A soaring screech was heard over the dusty beaten up sound hole followed with a powerful "boom!" the lasts words heard from the president were "I'm sorry;" silence eclipsed the sound
"I'm getting no where!" said the silhouette in a low monotone voice. He heaved the radio towards the wall, while in mid air the luminous moonlight that was visible through the pentagon shaped window in the kitchen gleamed onto the apple insignia on the front of the radio as well as the mysterious mans face.

About
Made this when I was in high school. Probably when I was a sophomore. 23 now, life has changed but all in all I'm almost the same. Just a bit of wear and tear but I promise! I'm worth the purchase...n.. more..
