Who's Flying This Plane?

Who's Flying This Plane?

A Poem by Charlie Leaf

I wait for you to speak, patiently keep my mouth shut

Pins and needles, prick prick stomach's in an acid rut

You gasp my hand and ask if I'm delighted with the scene

I smile back, fire in my throat, war with both in between
