A Poem by Charlie Leaf

awoke to frozen whispers,
icing me stuck to my place,
why do you stare at me mister?
how have you entered this space?
no uttered words or motion,
just a look that seized me powerless,
no sounds could be spoken,
just me in awe leering at Death
