The world isn’t black and white

I live in constant gray

Without you by my side

I was soon led away

Once bitten twice shy

Lines not clearly defined

Here I am

Back with you

Risking heartbreak and pain

Once and again

Forgetting and trusting you

Don’t let me down

A second chance 

Is all I can give

But can easily be taken away

[Infinite Midnight]

It seems we have something in common. Life has shown us both the color of pain. Excellent peom my friend. So much said in so few lines. It also shows a forgiving heart. I cannot say the same. ( At least where lying liar cheeters are concerned.)
