GangsA Poem by charleybearGangs
Darkness and light the ultimate blend of life the teen years, so hard to make it through the average days, highs and lows the struggles and fights the bongs and the gangs the knives, the countless lives the children cry and the brothers; well they lie he looked at me wrong so i blasted him out he can't look at me now he's busy fighting fo his life hold up, hold up a bad trip, no mate it's waking life no need to be high, i just watched another friend die. need another story? my girl, well she cheated on me now she's pregnant 17 how wll she make it she only saw one solution goodbye girl, i miss you even with what you put me through i still love you. my best friend? he's sat on the inside drugs and beer he partied all night the car he crashed into the crowd he ploughed yet another goodbye. lucky to make it through i don't know responsibility and trust parents now with children to love outlaws roaming the streets ASBO babies making their mark. is this the future i have to look forward to? we'll see, one day i'll look back thinking maybe it was all a bad dream sleep with one eye open and be who i am and who i am is just me. © 2009 charleybearAuthor's Note
