IF I SAID I'M SORRY

IF I SAID I'M SORRY

A Poem by charles Jenkins

If I said I'm sorry would it bring you back

would it fix all the wrong I have done,

If I said I'm sorry would you stay

Or would you turn and walk away,

If I siad I'm sorry would you cry

Or would you say goodbye,

If I said I'm sorry do the days go back

Or do they stay the same,

If I said I'm sorry would god let me in

Or turn me away cause I have sinned,

If I said I'm sorry would you help me through this

Or leave me to fight this one on my own,

If I said I'm sorry would it be like old times

And be like nothing happened,

It is just a thought if I said I'm sorry.

I loved this. It's honest, loving, and opens up a realm that releases what you're going through. Great poem.
