HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU

HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU

A Poem by charles Jenkins

hold your hand out for just a second

open it up wide,

slowly close it for a minute

to see what you feel inside,

you didn't know that it was there

my heart for yours to keep,

everytime you make a fist

my eyes silently weep,

even though you can't see it there

doesn't mean it ain't,

you have held my heart in your hands

since 1998,

I want you to keep it

where ever you may go,

keep it close to your heart

and let our love just grow,

If I had a choice to be a millionaire

I would chose to have just you,

cuz no money in the world

could make me feel what I feel for you,

you say that we fight everyday

but that is in the past,

we fought because I locked you out

cuz I didn't know what to say,

I didn't want to show you

all the pain I had locked away,

I hope that you like this one

cuz it's my longest now,

no words are to explain

how much I love you.
