chronos, the cartographer (or lodestone)

chronos, the cartographer (or lodestone)

A Poem by charlie
"

a meditation inspired by the writings of phil roberts. http://www.writerscafe.org/philroberts

"

contoured naturally and of reasonable size

the sediment, the mineral and silica roll

from point beginning: some conceivable top

then onwards gathering how to box

and adding the harder - how not to box:

    though, slalom, son. slalom onward

take the turns, the spills, the swipes made

wildly; take them with these warm nods

adhering the notches to those limpid legs.

sing and dance while I eat, I have mountains

        to both build and crush
