The ResurrectionA Poem by charlieMetaphors can carry a thing, and they can bury a thing, also. This poem is about the resurrection.
Once a year, every year
The case of risen nails
Calls for hands on deck.
The carpenter with his punch;
The scholar with his slide square;
The poet's profundity
Confer: “what would Jesus do?”
And, ofcourse - he’d go fishing
Where the water tastes like wine.
