A Poem by charlie
"

they're around

"

it is the way it is

and no matter what i say

it will be the way it is

and no matter who i tell

it’s the way that it will stay

and no matter what i do

it will stay that way, too.

unless it isn’t, then it won’t

and it don’t really matter…

and that is what i said

because it is what it is

I love this because I feel I can really relate. Your self-perception on reality is indeed reality. We are what we make things, what we believe, and no-one will make us believe anything different unless we wish it to do so.

Hard to debate this notion. Thanks a lot for reading, Steve.
The title sounds like a child who wants two front teeth for Christmas, that was an adorable play on words Charlie, and we all have our thoughts, but isn't it incredible that even atheists take Christmas day off, and isn't it incredible that the world celebrates that one day, I mean, it's just mind blowing to me how one man, under extreme controversy though out the centuries still incites tree, carols, gifts around the world.

Incredible is the word. No matter what one man we may be referring to.

yup.......................
very entertaining piece in terms of satire, and tongue in cheek tone...

but it is what it is...unless it isn't...

really like this poem quite a bit...

seems full of simplicity while really being full of complexity...
