Rain Rain Go Away

Rain Rain Go Away

A Poem by Chiquita

Redundant respirations
Abscence of life
Instinctive heart beat
No desire nor love

Random thoughts
A mind near death
Incapible of exacting change
Never is my forever

God has died
Only this time he shall not rise

Anger is my god
Wanting but never obtaining
Awaiting but never receiving
Yelling but remaining unheard.

If the creator dies, what is to become of the creature?

an eloquent poem - you made that type of dispair we sometimes feel - tangible. I've been in that mindset where I thought the deep sadness would never go away.
Intriguing the way you ended this one....what would become of us without the creator? If our creator is anger - would we simply fade?
A thought provoking write

how very clever! this was so unique. I like your style. this was melancholy and blue - just like a rainy day. I related easily to this- well done.

That was really cool. I could imagine this being done in whispers. Several voices whispering these words in the night.

Did you mean to spell abscence, as in the seizures? Or is that supposed to be absence, as in lacking or being absent.

This poem poses some of the eternal questions of the human mind. I am not sure that there is an answer.

Very beautiful words. I feel the pain and sadness come through your words. This is a very powerful piece. I enjoyed the read, thank you.

Raw and honest emotion. I dare say that all of us have been there a time or two.

Exquisite, sad, but REAL.

I agree with mourning Starr that God is not dead, but I do understand how sadness can make you feel so all alone. great powerful writing, my friend. hugs to you .....
