A careless way to feel

t is the contrast that is beautiful, 
the bold lines between me and you. 
It is the motions that deem us worthy, 
of the things we hold on to. 
It is not a letter or a word, 
not a line in a song. 
It is tightness in your throat, 
when you know you have said it wrong. 
It is the careful way you look at her... 
and the careless way you feel. 
It is the twisting in you stomach, 
that shows you its all real. 
A bomb has exploded here. 
Look around, what do you see? 
Shattered peaces of your love, 
clinging to the broken parts of me. 
This is our world now. 
This is my wall, 
where I will paint for you a picture... 
of the things we never had at all. 
Didn't we have the time, 
to completely absorb each other? 
Maybe you didn't have the fight 
to promise me forever. 
I hope one day I will see you, 
through this all consuming storm. 
A feeling that rips my heart out. 
I cant keep whats yours..
