Vices

Vices

A Poem by Steven Cash
"

A peek into my secrets...

"
Everyone has their vices
This that they can't let go of
Logic rarely will set us free
Instead we play to our own tune

Take me for instance

Sometimes my head is twisted
Sometimes I am up in the air
Sometimes I make a mess of things
It's something I don't grow out of

I am always wiping my slate clean
Erasing the past
So nobody knows the places I've been
The things I have seen and loved

And you are no different

Everyone has their vices
If you were perceptive, you know mine as well
Some say I'm a sinner for it
Some say I am normal

I simply say I am me

This poem exposes a good subject and is very true. The line that spoke to me most would have to be: "Logic rarely will set us free"
I could so relate!! Anyways, awesome job Steven!
God Bless
