Will make you know I did - I don't like the word "make" in this poem too much like Professor X type mind control. I like "let" instead of "make".

I hope you smile because it happened - good line. I like the potential double meaning, do you want her to smile because it's over or smile because you all had the relationship? No need to answer that, I just like the duality of meaning inherent in your phrasing.

I like the repetition of the first line.
